THE COMPLETE DANCER with Yasmine Naghdi gives young performers direct access to the professional knowledge behind successful ballet careers, from injury prevention and audition confidence to mindset, professionalism and longevity in the industry. Led by Principal Dancer with the Royal Ballet, Yasmine Naghdi. This workshop is designed to help dancers train smarter, perform stronger and navigate the dance world with confidence.

THE DAY
WORKSHOP SCHEDULE
Two age-group classes followed by a full-group talk, Q&A and photo session — parents are warmly welcome to the afternoon.
JUNIOR GROUP
10:00 - 11:15
AGES 11-15
The junior class is tailored to young dancers aged 11-15, building foundational technique, artistry and performance quality, through skills shared in a focused, supportive environment.
Live music provided by celebrated national company pianist Matthew Gregory.
SENIOR GROUP
11:30 - 12:45
AGES 16+
The Senior class is curated for dancers aged 16+ providing advanced ballet training tailored for pre professional and company level dance enviroments. Dancers will refine thier techncial foundations, artistry, verstility and performance quality in a focused and supportive environment.
Live music provided by celebrated national company pianist Matthew Gregory.

YASMINE NAGHDI
PRINCIPAL DANCER of THE ROYAL BALLET
Yasmine Naghdi is a Principal dancer with The Royal Ballet and one of the leading ballerinas of her generation. Since joining the Company in 2010, she has risen rapidly through the ranks, becoming Principal in 2017. Renowned for her artistry, technical brilliance, and dramatic depth, her repertoire includes iconic roles such as Odette/Odile in Swan Lake, Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Giselle, Manon, and Tatiana in Onegin. Born in London, Naghdi trained at The Royal Ballet School and won Young British Dancer of the Year in 2009. She has also created roles in new contemporary works and was nominated for Best Female Dancer at the 2018 Critics’ Circle National Dance Awards.

JAMIEL DEVERNAY-LAURENCE
CEO & ARTISTIC DIRECTOR of FUNDAMENTALLY DANCE
Jamiel Devernay-Laurence is a creative arts producer, choreographer, filmmaker, and entrepreneur redefining how audiences experience dance. Through his production company, Fundamentally Dance, he created Ballet Nights, a critically acclaimed concert-format series blending ballet, contemporary dance, and live music. A former Soloist with Scottish Ballet, his work has been commissioned by organisations including the BBC and Google. His productions have toured internationally, expanding dance audiences while championing world-class artists, innovation, and accessible, artist-led performance experiences.
